⚡ CE Documentation Explained
When you sell under your own brand in the EU, you need two documents:
CE Certificate — issued by ECM Italy to TrilPeak. This confirms the product has been independently type tested. This document always shows TrilPeak as the manufacturer — this is normal for all OEM and is accepted at every EU customs office.
Declaration of Conformity (DoC) — we prepare this in your company name as the EU brand owner/importer. This is the document your customers and procurement teams will see, and it carries your company identity.

The minimum order quantity is 500 pieces per model. This applies to each individual model number you want to include in your branded range. If you want to launch 3 models (e.g. Type 1, Type 2, and DC SPD), each model has its own 500 pcs MOQ.
For clients who are testing a new market, we recommend starting with samples first — typically 3–10 branded sample units, with the cost credited to your first bulk order.
Yes, fully. Under EU law (specifically the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU), an importer or brand owner can place CE marked products on the EU market under their own brand name, provided they are the "economic operator" responsible for compliance.
We support this with a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) issued in your company name. The ECM-issued CE certificate from TrilPeak is supplied alongside — this is the standard practice for OEM and is accepted by EU customs authorities without issue.
Branded samples with your logo are typically ready within 10–15 business days after we receive your approved artwork files. Standard catalogue samples (without branding) can be dispatched within 3–5 business days.
We recommend approving samples before placing a bulk order — this ensures the branding, labelling, and packaging meet your expectations before production commences.
For product label and logo printing: vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF) with your logo in the correct colours (Pantone or CMYK values). For packaging box design: we can work with your existing brand guidelines and design the box layout, or you can supply a complete print-ready file.
Our design team will review your files and confirm they are suitable for production before proceeding. No design agency required — we handle the adaptation to our production templates at no extra charge.
Yes. You can include multiple models in a single order — each model must meet its own 500 pcs MOQ, but they can all be produced and shipped together in one consolidated shipment. This is the most common approach for clients building a full branded SPD range.
Yes — we actively welcome pre-shipment inspection by your nominated QC agency (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or any other). We also conduct 100% in-house electrical testing on every unit before inspection. Our factory is open to audit visits and factory tours for prospective and existing OEM clients.
Payment terms are discussed on a per-client basis and depend on your order volume, country, and relationship history. Common arrangements include T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) with a deposit upon order confirmation and the balance before shipment, as well as L/C (Letter of Credit) for larger orders from established buyers.
