TrilPeak holds ISO 9001:2015 certification covering the manufacture and supply of surge protective devices. The quality management system governs incoming material inspection, in-process production controls, finished product testing, and post-delivery corrective action processes.
ISO 9001 certification is maintained through periodic surveillance audits. The certificate and scope documentation are available on request for procurement submissions and supplier qualification reviews.
ECM Italy CE Certification โ Not Self-Declared
TrilPeak's SPDs carry CE marking issued by Ente Certificazione Macchine (ECM), Italy โ an independent third-party certification body. ECM independently reviewed TrilPeak's technical documentation and IEC type test reports before issuing certificates.

Three-Stage Quality Control: IQC · IPQC · OQC
A product cannot advance to the next stage without passing the preceding inspection. IPQC inspectors operate independently of the production line and report directly to the quality department.
Raw Materials Verified Before Production
Every incoming material batch is sampled and inspected before entering production. Substandard material is quarantined and rejected before reaching the assembly line.
Inspections at Defined Assembly Intervals
Inspections are conducted at defined intervals during assembly and soldering. Out-of-tolerance findings trigger immediate line hold and root cause investigation.

Every unit undergoes 100% routine electrical testing before packaging. This is not sampling โ it is applied to the full production quantity. Batches with failures are held pending root cause analysis.

Every TrilPeak SPD carries a unique serial number linking the finished product to its complete production batch record. Records are retained for a minimum of five years.

MOV chip batch number and raw material intake record โ traceable to the source material lot used in production.

Production date, line assignment, and IPQC inspection result linked to each serial number range.
OQC Electrical Data

Quality Assurance FAQ
Is 100% routine testing standard or an additional service?
It is standard. Every unit in every production batch is electrically tested before packaging. There is no additional charge and no option to waive it. Batch-specific test data is available for OEM orders on request.
Does TrilPeak provide test reports with OEM orders?
Yes. Batch-specific routine test data and a copy of the applicable CE certificate are included with every OEM production order. IEC type test reports are available within 24 hours on request.
Can I audit TrilPeak's factory and quality system?
Yes. Factory audits โ including quality system review, production floor walkthrough, and live OQC observation โ can be arranged. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek is also welcomed. Contact us to schedule →
What happens if a unit fails OQC?
The unit is removed from the batch, assigned a failure code, and sent to the engineering team for root cause analysis. The batch is held until the failure is understood. Failed units are never reworked and re-released without a full re-test cycle.
