Raw Material Preparation
Zinc oxide and metal oxide dopants are precisely batch-blended and processed through a large-scale spray dryer into uniform granulate.

Granulate is pressed into disc or rectangular forms, then sintered at 1,100โ1,200ยฐC โ creating the ceramic grain boundary microstructure that gives MOVs their surge-clamping properties.

Silver electrodes are printed and fired onto both faces. Copper leads are attached. Each chip passes 100% electrical testing, then receives blue epoxy encapsulation.

Chips pass a second 100% electrical test before entering SPD assembly. Finished SPDs are tested to IEC 61643-11 / IEC 61643-31 before packaging.
Dual 100% Test ยท IEC Certified SPDMOV chips produced in-house are used exclusively for TrilPeak's own SPD manufacturing โ not sold externally. This ensures every TrilPeak surge protector benefits from the full quality control chain, from raw material to finished device.
